About Me.

Hello. My name is Hayden. I take photos of—and write about—forgotten memories, the deep longing of growth and loss, and the space between dream and reality. As a neurodivergent photographer I often find that the psychedelic nature of existence does not always translate easily in photos; my work aims to seize on that vague emotional space when the subject is somehow "off", in the moments where a lack of complete information causes the mind to fill in the missing details with a broad sense of longing, loss, nostalgia, fondness, home, or with the uncertainty of feeling that is but is not. Not every experiment is successful, not every frame yields the feeling, but I chase it nonetheless, searching for moments out of time, and locations out of place.
